World Environments Day 2010: “Many Species. One Planet. One Future.” Photo Exhibition
Under the theme “Many Species. One Planet. One Future.”, the Ministry of State for Environment Affairs, the United Nations and the European Union are celebrating World Environment Day, with an “Open Air Photo Exhibition” highlighting Syria's protected areas. With beautiful photographs and descriptions of the landscapes, existing and endangered plants and animals, the exhibit aims to increase awareness of the importance of environmental protection and to introduce Syria's protected areas to its citizens.
