Description / Overview:
This project will support improved preparedness, coordination, management and delivery of humanitarian and recovery assistance in Syria by fostering capacity within the Government of Syria and dialogue and understanding between government institutions, national non-governmental organizations, the United Nations active organizations in the field and the donor community

Objectives:
design the necessary structures, mechanisms, capacity building programmes and tools for crisis prevention, response and recovery in full synchronization with the Syrian Government.


Target Beneficiaries:
  • Prime Minister's Office
  • All Relevant Government Institutions


Achivments:

  • Project file containing comprehensive assessment of current disaster preparedness situation of the institutional and legal frameworks prepared
  • Presented to the high committee of Disaster Management, as well as distributed to all concerned institutions
