Description / Overview:
This project Aims to strengthen the capacities of religious leaders and institutes by interdusing a new development approash in the priorities of religious institutes, recognizing the rishness of Syrian culture and religious life, the project will integrate some development ideas and methods into the priorities of religious institutions in order to enhance the institutions  role in socio-economic and human development. 



Objectives:

  • Enhance the role of religious leaders and religious institutes in socio-economic and human development.
  • Increase the awareness of religious leaders about the relevance of their role in the progress of their society.
Target Beneficiaries:

Religious leaders and representatives of religious institutions and organizations.



Implementation Strategy:
  • Conduct Training for 100 religious leaders on communication skills, basic economics and moral concepts of media
  • Conduct Training for 100 religious leaders on including public health and safe driving in their preaching


Achievements / Current Status:

Training of 97 male and female, Muslim and Christian religious leaders on communication skills, basic economics, moral concepts of media and how to include public health and safe driving issues in their preaching.
